This past weekend, Meat With a Mission had the incredible honor of hosting a Rib & Bean Fundraiser benefiting the Baldwin County Boys Ranch—and thanks to your overwhelming support, it was a huge success!

We sold over 280 racks of slow-smoked ribs, each one prepared with care and purpose. With every slab and pint of homemade beans that went out, we raised vital funds to support the Ranch and its mission of providing a safe, structured, and loving home for boys in need.

The response from the community was nothing short of amazing.

From the early-morning pit crew to the final round of pickups, our volunteers showed up with energy and heart. It was a long day full of smoke, teamwork, and the kind of effort that makes a real impact.

This fundraiser wasn't just about BBQ—it was about showing up for our local youth and giving them the support they deserve. We’re proud to stand with the Baldwin County Boys Ranch and are already looking forward to the next opportunity to serve.

To everyone who purchased a plate, volunteered their time, or helped spread the word—thank you. You helped turn 280+ racks of ribs into hope, stability, and a brighter future for the boys at the Ranch.

Stay tuned for more events, and as always, thank you for being part of the mission!

What’s Next?

With this fundraiser behind us, we’re looking ahead to more opportunities to support our community. If you’re interested in volunteering, partnering with us for a future event, or just want to stay updated on our next BBQ fundraiser, check out our Meat With A Mission page on our website or contact us at info@serviceingodsname.org.

We’re keeping the momentum going with our next cook on May 3rd, benefiting the Lifeline Church and Ministries. This incredible organization is dedicated to weekly outreach in the city jails of Baldwin County, providing support and guidance to both men and women incarcerated, and partnering with the court system to offer their Lifeline Ministry class as an alternative to traditional rehabilitation programs. If you'd like to support this event, get your tickets now!
