Our latest Rib & Bean Fundraiser was a powerful reminder that when good food meets a great cause, amazing things happen. On June 7th at Honeybee Park in Robertsdale, Meat With a Mission proudly hosted a cook to support The Lighthouse, and the community showed up in a big way.
We’re thrilled to share that we sold 152 rib and bean tickets, with every dollar raised going to benefit The Lighthouse—a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, support, and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, their children, and adult survivors of sexual assault across Baldwin County and surrounding areas.
It was more than just a BBQ—it was an opportunity to stand alongside a mission that brings safety, healing, and hope to individuals in crisis. The day was filled with the sounds of smokers going strong, volunteers working together, and neighbors picking up meals that would help make a difference.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who purchased a plate, donated, volunteered, or simply helped spread the word. Your support helps us keep doing what we love—using food as a force for good.
Stay tuned for our next fundraiser, and as always, thank you for being part of the mission.
